Dim Sum Club: Reviews & Ratings

Great portions and taste. Their Mongolian beef was so tender and juicy. The chow mein packed the right flavors. Seafood tofu soup is mid. Dim sums are average, nothing mind blowing. Salt and pepper shrimps had shells but tasted great. The sesame balls were alright. Our whole table got a free coconut pudding dessert since it was my dad's birthday. Service was great and the restaurant wasn't busy on an early Friday evening. We will come back.

This place is soooo good. I love that they have dim sum for dinner. It was pretty crowded on a weeknight with tons of families so we knew it would be good. My boyfriend said this might be the best dim sum he’s ever had but maybe he was a little hungry. Everything that we ordered was an absolute hit. We ate every last bit of food that we ordered too. I ordered the “beef roll” thinking it was the rice roll with sweet soy sauce but it turned out to be marinated beef, cucumber, spring onion, plum sauce wrapped in a green onion pancake. Not what I expected but really good, reminded me of a Peking duck roll. The only non-positive thing we could say about this place was that the regular xlb and the spicy ones tasted exactly the same except the spicy ones were in tins that were sort of difficult to remove the dumplings from without ripping. Still it was delicious. We ate all of our food in less than 15 minutes. Will definitely be coming back

@dimsumclub_sf is where the party’s at because they serve authentic dim sum all day! The menu is huge and has all the classics, in addition to it being delicious and afffordable! The portions are big enough to share and being around $5-$9 each. It’s definitely worth checking out! They don’t speak much English though so best to order from the paper menu!

We were visiting SF and one thing my hubby always want is dim sum. We just didn't want to spend an arm and a leg for it. We heard of Dim Sum Club and never tried it. So why not? We were 2nd on the wait list and got seated within about 10 mins. Its a small cute little restaurant so no carts rolling around here. They give you a menu and pen, you mark what you want. They took our order quickly but food took a while to come out. Once it started coming, though, it was worth the wait, everything tasted great! My favorite was the chives and shrimp dumplings, the skin was a perfect thick/thinness, so fresh, full of flavor. We ordered two types of tripe, spicy and soy/ginger. The radishes was crispy on the outside and soft on the outside. The stuffed eggplant was surprisingly delicious, it had a crispy skin and sweet soy glaze with a little ball of minced plumped shrimp. The chicken feet were tender and seasoned just right. And of course you can't go wrong with thr basics of ha gow and siu mai. The food was delicious overall and not overpriced like a lot of dim sum spots in SF. Even with the slow timing, I’d still come back for the food alone.

Came here for dim sum for the first time with my family, it was so good! We love getting the OG dishes like siu mai and har gow. I feel like if a place can get just the originals right, then everything else will taste good and I was right! I almost wanted to get another plate of siu mai but I was already so full from everything else. Coming here on a weekend is definitely going to be really busy and may have a long wait, definitely plan ahead!

Price point was attractive compared to other restaurants. ( Yum Cha is, like everything else, getting so pricey these days). Was happy with most dishes. Got both pea sprouts as a side dish and inside a shrimp dumpling. Thought the Bean Curd wrap was pretty good as was the Har gow. Scallop dumpling was fine but not particularly memorable. Siu Mai was good not great. Bean Curd wrapped shrimp was probably my favorite item ordered. I think overall it was better than when this restaurant was on Van Ness back in the day.

Came here on Father's Day and the wait was not bad for a party of 2 people. The most memorable item I ordered here was their soup dumplings (xlb). It was a mouthful of flavor and were piping hot! It tasted great with a little bit of vinegar and ginger. Their dim sum prices are also really reasonable. I also really enjoyed their ham sui gok! They were crispy and fresh. I have no complaints about their dim sum. I'd be more than happy to come back here for more dim sum. They give you a disposable menu for you to write down how many of each dish you would like. It is not a traditional dim sum place with a cart coming around, but servers here are attentive and it was easy to wave down and employee for any requests. Street parking only, but the restaurant is right in front of the L train.
